Okay. You've tried tennis and discovered you like tennis. Hey, we're not surprised! We're pretty partial to it ourselves.
But your serve seems to end a lot more points than it begins, your volleys seem to feel most at home in the bottom of the net, and when you hear other players talking about topspin, it makes your head spin. So where do you go to make your basics better?
You go to the 1-2-3 Tennis Program, a three-step program designed to teach the basics of the game quickly and easily in a fun, active and encouraging group environment.
Non-members are welcome.
Step 1: Free Tennis Lessons
Free lessons are available for beginning players or for people who have not played in a long time.Step 2: 1-2-3 Clinics

After the free lessons, a six-week program for adults and juniors is offered. This program offers a low-cost introductory program for new or returning players that provides instruction and supervised play. You'll work on strokes, discuss strategy and focus on mastering the basics of the game, while meeting new friends and potential playing partners. Cost is $75 for six 1.5 hour sessions and includes a free racquet.Level II
This program builds upon the skills taught in Level I by incorporating supervised match play. Cost is $75 for six 1.5 hour sessions.Step 3: USA Team Tennis
USA Team Tennis gives players the opportunity to develop their basic tennis skills in an energetic, exciting and fun-filled team-spirited atmosphere.
Participants have the opportunity to play organized matches in a non-competitive atmosphere. The emphasis is on fun, fitness and the social benefits of tennis. As players in USA Team Tennis develop their skills, they may continue in the program with the same group of players or move on to more competitive play in USTA League Tennis.
